    Sandie Ann Nielsen

I am the professor of Contemporary Vocal Technique of MUSICademia.

I have always been interested in the voice as an instrument. Since I was little I went to classes at the local music school of my town in Denmark and I have sung in several choirs and musical groups there.

To start here in Spain, I studied vocal technique and musical language at Nelson Music Academy, taking the international exams of "Rockschool" and "ABRSM Music Theroy". Then I continued studying at CAMM with Irene Lombard in her Vocal Technique class for a year and a half, and finally I studied 1 year with Kim Chandler, the best “Vocal Coach” I have ever met.

I am basing classes in MUSICademia a lot on what I have studied with Kim, starting with everything technical, but the most important thing is always to enjoy, it has to be nice and fun to sing! We must not suffer! No way! At the beginning I was very demanding with myself, studying all the time and my body could not follow my head, with that I learned that you have to love what you do and enjoy every second! Singing is magical, it is the instrument of the soul, singing is connecting ...

I am a singer in the group Auralyn Waves. We play in duo, trio or band, a mix of custom versions and own themes. In my opinion it is very important, for growing as an artist, to play live in different situations.
